Psagot is currently the largest investment company in Israel. In 2003, it merged with the Ofek portfolio management firm, both of which were controlled by one of the most successful banks in the country. Psagot is controlled by Apax Partners, and is located in Tel Aviv.
The company’s investment and research division is the biggest in Israel, and is of the highest quality. The division has seven departments, all of which include analysts, investment managers and traders licensed by the Israeli Securities Authority.
Psagot works with provident funds, professional study funds, mutual funds, pension funds, investment portfolio management, hedge funds, exchange traded notes and financial products, central funds for severance pay and brokerage and research services.
